Located at Pongaroa close to a memorial commemorating the involvement of Maurice Wilkins in the discovery of the DNA molecular
structure. Route 52 now has a good distribution of caches along its
length.
The cache is a camouflaged film canister containing a log strip but no writing implement so you will need your own. PLEASE make sure that the cache is returned on top of the stone on which it sits retained by magnetic coupling.
