Faded Marker Series= Basom Plot Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

sabrefan7: You are correct Mr. Yuk the logging disclaimer doesn't work much. I honestly think the majority of players today do not even read the cache page at all. As far as this one goes ,, So long and thanks for all the fish.
A very considerate cacher picked up the container to keep the woman from across the street from stealing it. She fought the town for years against this memorial. I received placement permission from the town Historians, but her harassment of unknowing players is not worth the headache.
Thanks all and cache on!

Geocache Description:

This is another cache in the Faded Markers Series. This series will mainly focus on older, near forgotten burial plots of pioneers in the Niagara Region and Western New York. The goal of this series is not necessarily the length of the walk nor the difficulty of the find, but rather a simple reverence for those who came before us to shape our area. Cache placed with permission by the Town of Alabama Historian For more information please visit http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~nycalaba/BasomPlot.html Cache is a Decon Container with small trade items. Perfect for key chain size travel bugs and coins. If you take a traceable item please leave one. The cache site is not truly wheelchair accessible, but would be with assistance

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
