Welcome to the Penny Store in Penny, KY.
THE OWNER HAS REQUESTED THAT THERE BE NO NIGHT CACHING.
The Penny Store is the last remaining landmark of Penny, KY. I was on the southeast corner of the intersection that is just east of this cache. The owners were going to tear it down and the current owner said that they shouldn't. So they said he could have it if he moved it. So to preserve the history of the store he did just that. Not only did he move it he also restored it with the help of friends. Now it looks much like it did many years ago. Complete with the original meat cooler which was found out in a field and had been used as a green house. The current owner has chucked it full of old antique items that would have been sold there many years ago.
So when you are there have a peak. If no one is at the store I would steer clear of the store because it has a security system and the cache is not on or near the store. It is in a wooded area near the parking area.
