Geocache Description:

A cache in Bawsey country park. The site has many miles of walks, and an abundance of wildlife. This is one of four caches around the site, you can complete them in any order you like, but the route we recommend is ….
If you start from Bawsey car park - bonkers, bridge, beach and then bugs. Or start from Leziate car park - beach, bugs, bonkers and then bridge. These orders would give the best walk around the country park both roughly circular

Bawsey country park was formed from the remains of a Silicon Sand Quarry.
The Sand was extracted for glass making and the area has been turned into one vast conservation and recreational area. There are many miles of walks through forest and lake areas. The lakes were formed by the quarries being flooded to provide areas for water wildlife. It is still owned and managed by Sibelco, and I thank them for allowing us to place caches here.

This is a nice but steep walk, it gives good views of the main lake at Bawsey. You can access it from many directions, so the terrain can be as easy or hard as you make it.
You are looking for a 1.5l lock n lock box with FTF badge for first finder,

There is lots of parking available in the park at N52 44.983 E000 28.884, which is locked at dusk, or alternative parking at Leziate village hall at N52 44.629 E000 29.249, but you have to cross a road to enter the park from here, but there is a play area.
