Geocache Description:


La bandita was quietly sitting on the couch, reading her third mystery of the week when, all of a sudden, she heard a familiar rattle.

With a sigh, she got up, put down her book, and followed the sound to the back yard, where she knew she would find el bandito. He was holding a can of spray paint in each hand, one black and one gray. In front of him, lined up on a raised 2x4, were the following geocache containers, all freshly painted...
  • Ammo Can
  • Tupperware Container
  • Altoids Tin
  • Decon
  • Matchstick Holder

"Ai bandito," she said, "Again? You are so loco. You realize that you have already spent over 650 pesos on cheap gray primer spray paint this month alone?"

Bandito looked at her woozily. "Aw c'mon, bandita. Primer is a great color. Didn't you know that it is the official state color of Alabama? And now that you mention it, I gotta go get some more. I just ran out. You want to go with me to the Mega-Lo Mart?"

Bandita chuckled and said, "Sure, I'll go with you, as long as we can stop and get some carrot juice. I'll go get the keys."

But then she paused, looked at the containers again, and said, "Now wait a doggone minute. There's a puzzle here..."


All of the following statements are true.
  1. Each of the containers is either gray or black.
  2. At least one of the containers is gray.
  3. At least one of the containers is black.
  4. If the Ammo Can is gray, and the Tupperware is black, then the Altoids Tin is gray.
  5. If the Ammo Can is black, then the Decon is black.
  6. If the Tupperware is gray, then the Decon is gray.
  7. The Ammo Can and the Tupperware are not both gray.
  8. Unless the Tupperware is gray, the Altoids Tin is black.
