Family friendly "park 'n grab" in a strange place.
Why put a geocache here? Its not seemingly that special of a spot. If you think you know why send me a message and I'll let you know whether you are correct or not.
I have permission from the owner of the land to put this cache here, the owner is fine if the general public wants to walk around the rest of the property woods/trails/fields (not in their yard I imagine) there are some nice trails. I've included some toys and such for the kids. There is plenty of room in this 3 quart lock 'n lock for TBs.
CONGRATULATIONS!
To genegene for being the FTF nice midnight tracking.
To fkrol who was the first to successfully figured out why I put this cache at this spot, I'd like to say he got it on his first try, but his diligence is commendable! Way to go!
Half the fun of this cache is finding it, and the other half is telling me why I put it here, so even though fkrol has 'first to figure it out' bragging rights you can still get in on it.
BTW it is not because:
It would be a good place to put a new church
It is a good view of the west
It is a good spot to watch deer
It has something to do with its altitude
It has some sentimental value in my past
The coordinates are my family's birthdays
I saw an eagle here
The pony express came through this area
It has something to do with Santa
But they were all good guesses, keep trying
I've decided to add a couple of hints. The first hint was the background image and image direct below this, but still people seemed clueless so I've added another hint, I changed the name of the cache. I hope I didn't make it too easy.
