A cache hidden in an old bluestone quarry. Fairly easy to find if you see the hint. Lots of hiding spots in there. About 1.4 mile round trip hike from Platte Clove Road through the preserve.
The Rocky Lounge II Cache is my 2nd cache hidden in this area. Take the Long Path south from Platte Clove Road and walk through the Platt Clove Preserve. Once through the preserve you will enter the state forest preserve. The cache is hidden next to an old bluestone quarry. There are a few chairs and tables made out of the remaining rocks, as well as a big throne chair. The cache is a small sized lock-n-lock type container. You can continue south on the trail to the Devils Kitchen Lean-to, and further south to Codfish Quarry, the site of the original Rocky Lounge Cache.
