Geocache Description:

The remainings of a beautiful Bareselturm, that once stood in Finkenwalde




The thirty-meter tower, built in the beginning of XX century, once sported a wonderful view of entire city. The beautiful park around and three nearby restaurants were a great attraction for Stettins's citizens and quests from Berlin.

During WW2, the tower was an observation point of anti-aircraft defence. In 1945 it was collapsed by Geman troops. After the war, the remainings were disassembled and robbed.

Do not forget to see the wonderful Herta See (Jezioro Szmaragdowe) nearby.

The coordinates point to the main stairway. After reaching it's top, find the remaining little wall.
