Even in the Rain... It's a Nice Day for a Walk.. and this is exactly what you'll find here. This cache isn't going to be that bad to find in the winter, but the overgrowth of summer will make it more and more difficult. Once you get to ground zero, it should be a relatively quick find.
The walk from the South lot is about 3/4 of a mile, so be prepared for a mile and a half round trip. Most of the walk is on gravel trails, but the last .3 miles or so, you'll have to bushwack a bit. We placed it shortly after the area had been control burned.
As of 3/29/10 this is no longer an ammo can, but it is big enough for trade items and trackables.
