Geocache Description:

Located at the entrance to an overnight camping park leading to the Pismo Dunes, this cache highlights the Pismo Clam. Access is best from the park side of the fence since there is no real sidewalk on the entrance side. At various times of the year, the clam is painted to celebrate the season or holiday. It's always fun to see what it looks like now.

Please replace the container as you found it so it isn't compromised by muggles, who will be in abundance. It has taken me several attempts to hit on the right container for this cache as it has been muggled. The location is too sweet to give up on. Parking may be limited so you may have to park down either end of the street and walk a short distance..
