Spring Is In The Air
Spring has sprung, the grass is
ris’,
I wonder where the birdie
is.
There he is up in the
sky,
He dropped some whitewash in my
eye!
I‘m alright, I won't
cry,
I'm just glad that cows can't
fly!
Spring has sprung,
The grass is ris’
I wonder where the birdies
is.
The little birds are on the wing
(Now isn’t that absurd)
The little wings are on the
bird.
Spring has sprung,
The grass is ris’
I wonder where the caches
is.
The cache is probably hanging
around,
Somewhere near the Spring you
found.
A little hint, just to be
fair,
At the posted coords, Spring's in
the air.
Look for the birdie... 'Cause Spring
is up high,
Now, to complete the riddle… (the
cache is nearby).
Looking
at
Spring,
the branch shows the way,
Take the right path, Geocaching to
play.
Stay on it please, leaving Spring
far behind,(about 120m)
It leads to the
place,
Where the cache you will
find.
When you're just past the ramp, you
will see a tree,
Where two are from one, you'll
understand when you see.
Now, unlike that birdie, you don't
need to fly,
Look at the roots, and
you'll be high and dry
.
Don’t be misled by what you might
find
The cache had to be moved, and the
old spot left behind
This was done for you to
replace it with ease.
The old spot wasn’t moved, just as a tease
When you're done logging, please
hang around
Long enough to replace it,
EXACTLY as
found
If you've enjoyed this poetry
thing
Back at your 'puter, claim your
smiley for spring !!!
The above works best if you park near the Takaya
Golf Center entrance.
In the cache there is a $500.00 key chain up for
grabs. There’s also a fire hydrant, a custom made “Spring” key
chain and other bits and bobs. FTF’er your prize, besides the glory
of being FTF, is having the choice of whatever you want. Choose
wisely !!!
