A micro cache along a section of the Jamestown Connector Bike Trail - BYOP!
This container and hide came from GCTATD
-The Diamond Mine Cache in Wilmington NC and was hidden as part of the requirements to log that cache!
Please replace as found!
In the never ending quest to connect and identify all the BIKE trails around Greene Co. this cache is placed along a short section of the JCT between Jasper and Hoop Roads.
UPDATE FROM JAMESTOWN CONNECTOR TRAIL WEBSITE
The trail from Xenia Station to Jamestown is complete EXCEPT for the ..."400 foot tunnel under US-35 will still need to be built and is scheduled for 2013."
The Detour until the tunnel is completed is as follows- The detour is leave the trail at S. Columbus Street and follow US-68 (Home Avenue South) You'll cross over US-35 in about one mile. Turn left (East) on Hook Road and continue about 1.25 miles down Hook Road and turn left (North) onto South Bickett Road. Take Bickett about .3 miles North to the end of the trail and continue East to Jamestown and the Fayette County line.
