Geocache Description:

Cache has been placed very close to the side of the path, with a specific hint due to possible difficulties caused by tree cover. Please take care to rehide the cache which may be seen by muggles if not hidden properly.

The Culsh Monument is 24m high and was erected in memory of William Fordyce MP of Brucklay. Aberdeenshires first MP. There are viewing platforms provided at the base and at the top of the spiral staircase within the tower. On a clear day it is possible to see the distant Caithness Hills to the north, Ben Rinnes at Dufftown in the west, the Grampian mountains to the south and Peterhead to the east. Cache is a white plastic cylinder with a snap lid. It can only accommodate small swaps. Please bring your own pen or pencil.
