Historical Marker #12: Beaver Indians
Drive to the end of 113 Avenue. Once at the end, it seems you will continue into a farmer's field, but make a Right hand turn and there's a small graveled driveway. It looks like private property, but rest assured, it's not. Go ahead and park here. You'll see a small fenced area with a gate on the East side of the fence to access both the monument and the cache.
A history of the Peace Country would not be complete without mention of the Aboriginal people who first lived here and their impact on the Peace region.
Please take a moment to read the information on the monument titled "Beaver Indians". Very few people (even in Fairview) know this monument is here so muggles shouldn't be a problem.
Cache is a small camo'd Lock 'N Lock with small trading items inside.
There are not many places to hide a cache so the hiding location should be fairly easy to spot.
