We are the Tiger Cubs of Pack 1815, and Team Nosaj taught us all
about geocaching. We learned about the different types of
geocaches, about travel bugs and about CITO. We had a "staged" set
of geocaches that we found, but we wanted to find some real ones.
So we decided to hike along Black Hill trail, in Black Hill
Regional Park, to hone our skills.
In addition to finding some geocaches, we also placed this
geocache for others to enjoy. We had Team Nosaj with us to make
sure we had the correct placement and took a good reading of where
we placed it. It is decorated with a tiger print, and contains all
things Jurassic. This is where we also placed our very own Scouting
Geocoin. We cannot wait to see where this ends up.
If that weren't enough, we practiced our CITO skills as well and
carried out and entire bag of trash. That is one less bag of trash
for others to worry about and helps our environment.
Well, that's it. Go out and find our cache. And if you think out
of the corner of your eye you saw a Tiger...you just might
have.
