Wild Goose Chase Traditional Cache

We've been planning on hiding another cache for a few weeks now and have set off several times to look for a good location. Being fairly new to the area - less than two years - we are still trying to find our way around. So whenever we go out to look for a spot, we always take a list of caches to find on the way out or the way home, if we have the time. Well, as things go, we always seem to be finding the caches rather than finding a spot for our own cache to go. But not today.
We had just found two nearby caches ... the first one being quite easy to get to. The second one, however, was quite a trek as we had decided to go straight up the hill, over 100s of fallen trees. Part way up the hill CaribuRoo mentioned to SkiNut that she felt as though she was on a wild goose chase. After finding the cache we headed for our third. On the way, the GeoPup scared some sort of wild bird out of the bushes and they both took off.
We abandoned the search for the third cache because of oncoming bad weather. It was while on the journey back to the car that we decided "to heck with it ... let's just place the cache here".
The hiding spot was chosen by the Crew. The container is big enough to hold only a few small items.
Starting contents include:
bottle of bubbles
boomerang keyring
marble
glow-in-the-dark star
hand paperclip
eraser
D'Arcy Memorial Coin
