Intended to be a park-n-grab along NM Highway 165. Log only.
Two rustic old windmills stand as silent sentinels along NM 165 just west of Placitas. Both are landmarks for many local residents.
This cache is across the highway from a windmill on the property of the Hacienda de Placitas Inn. From here you can see the windmill with a picturesque backdrop of the Jemez Mountains, Cabezon Peak, and a nice portion of the Rio Grande Valley.
