Close to the Lake Lenore Caves
Well hike of the month group, I finally got this published. This originated because on a small group outing with the Wenatchee hike of the month group, I for the first time this year, decided to go on this wonderful hike to get 4 caches. Weeeeellllllll, I made it to the second cache waaaayyyy up on the top of that biiiiigggg hill. I looked down the other side and thought to myself... (boy don't those two little kids look tired) as you can see I was only thinking of those little tikes that would have a hard time finishing the hike and out of the goodness of my heart, offered to stay behind and watch the kids. We hiked all over walking in and out of the caves, having lunch and meandering down to the picnic area. At that time we decided to place a cache. So in the end, after watching the people coming down the hill, some very sore and tired, all I could think of was, thank goodness for little kids. :-)
