This cache is a small, camouflaged bison tube which is located along the Headingley Grand Trunk Trail. As a result of the removal of the large rock under which the cache was hidden, it has been moved to the east with the following coordinates - N 50
The Headingley Grand Trunk Trail is the abandoned CNR rail line that traverses the municipalities of Headingley and Cartier. The railroad bed, originally built by the Grand Trunk Pacific Railroad, was used from 1894 to 1972. The trail covers approximately 15 kilometers from the Perimeter Highway to Beaudry Park.
There are already 3 caches in place at the eastern end of the trail.
Watch for the diverse plant and animal life while on the trail.
The cache can be found along the Headingley Grand Trunk Trail which can be accessed from several of the roads (which will bring you close to the cache) or as a part of a good bicycle ride or a long hike.
