The cache takes you to the N.Y.S. boat launch that is the finish line for the Head of the Fish and other rowing regattas.
The Saratoga Rowing Association holds several rowing regattas on Fish Creek.
Incidentally, the trophy for the Head of the Fish is the ugliest in the sport.
The club and Skidmore also practice on the course so in season you have a chance to see the rowers doing their stuff.
I'm also using the cache to launch my Sliding Seat Rowing TB [TB2B2ZK]. It's goal is to visit other rowing clubs and regatta venues.
