Cache is on the old Moab Road between Arches NP and the Bar-M ATV/bike trail north of Moab. This section of the old road is closed to motorized vehicles. A good hike is required if not using a mountain bike. For cyclists, it's an easy coast down and moderate ride up. You can ride/hike up to the cache from Arches but I recommend parking at the Bar-M [Chuckwagon] trailhead about 4 miles north of Arches US 191 entrance.
The cache is another of our “Coffee” series north of Moab. When originally placed, the cache was in plain sight from the right angle. Please rehide it that way (don’t make a level 5 difficulty) but smooth over your tracks so it is not too easy for the next seekers.
While you are in the area, be sure to take the Bar-M Loop trail. It is a beginner level ride with optional more challenging side trails. Both the Bar-M trail and the old Moab Road offer spectacular views.
Note for hikers using the Bar-M trailhead: continue driving on the gravel road to the sign prohibiting motorized vehicles.
