See No Evil Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Commander & Chief: Last remaining one of my Evil Cacher series. Archiving due to trail changes and because I don't get out there as much any more. Thanks to all that went for it. C&C.

Geocache Description:

Terrain rating is mostly for the length of the hike. There are no steep inclines but after any heavy rain fall you may want to wear boots that you don't mind getting a bit muddy. Cache may require hiking through some minor sticker vines. This Cache was placed with the permission of and is registered with the Director of the Hormel Nature Center.

Please remember to take only memories and leave only footprints.

"Look not at what is contrary to propriety." This Cache was once part of the Evil Cacher series that recently had to be retired. Disregard any reference to final coordinates to the Final for the Series. Don’t be surprised to walk among herds of Deer, Wild Turkeys, Geese and various other species of wildlife.

view details

The 507 acre Jay C. Hormel Nature Center was established in 1971. The center is just within the Austin city limits. It features restored and remnant prairie, hardwood forests, wetlands, and meandering streams. As you hike through the different trails (7 miles worth all total), there are Deer, Mink, Raccoons, Salamanders, Birds and other native wildlife for your viewing pleasure. The Watch Tower provides an excellent view of some of these trails and prairies.
