Geocache Description:

First and foremost, special thanks to FireFrog69 for hosting an event here in March of 2008 and for the inspiration to have another "Express Mob" at this location this year. Both bnprood (NY) and battfam (GA) are joining forces to bring you this quick event.

A flash mob is a gathering of geocachers that comes together for a short period of time, under 15 minutes in this case, to find a cache and make new caching friends.  This event will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at precisely 6:00pm. You must be present and you must sign the log DURING the event time in order to claim the find. There is a physical cache located nearby and you are welcome to find that one as well while in the area for this event.

Schedule of Events

5:45 - 5:50 - Begin arriving at the location.

5:50 - 5:59 - Unofficial Mingling (make some new friends and talk about local caches).

6:00 - Simultaneously, a box for log sheets will be placed near the listed coordinates, signaling that the event has begun.  Near the box will be log sheets for the cache, nametags, and markers.  You will fill out a log sheet and drop it in the box and write your name on a nametag and stick it on.

6:00 - 6:08 - Official mingling, swap trackables, share stories, take pictures.

6:08 - 6:10 - Group photo in front of Dolly's train.

6:10 - 6:14 - Raffle for prizes. We will be raffling FTF honors, some cool swag, even some trackables - coins too!

6:15 - Signal will be given that the event is over. All log sheets will be collected and become the official log book.

6:15 - ??? - You are more than welcome to stay in the area to share coins, continue mingling, or CITO the area.

Remember to set your watches correctly - you are in the Eastern Time Zone!

This is a fun way for cachers to come together, both locals and those who are in the area vacationing.  This is a family friendly event and you are invited to bring the geokids and pets as well.  The more the merrier!  If you have something that you would like to donate to the raffle, please contact bnprood through their profile.  We are looking forward to seeing you!

Special thanks to ATMouse and Team Geolgynut for coin donations for the raffle drawing!
