On Tuesday 19th May 2009 from 6:30pm onwards.
At The Shepherd and Flock Public House
Moor Park Lane,
Shepherd and Flock Roundabout,
Farnham, Surrey, GU9 9JB
The Pub is a familiar landmark as it is in the middle of a very
busy roundabout on the A31/A325. Take care as you arrive - you have
to get into the lane nearest the roundabout and then turn into a
short slip road which guides you onto the wrong side of the road -
fortunately it is a only a narrow lane serving the Pub and a few
houses. Take similar care when you leave.
Your hosts for the night will be Kitey and Westley and Buttercup
(if he can escape his late shift at work to get there)
An opportunity to meet and greet other cachers from the local
area, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire and perhaps further afield
over a glass beer and some good pub grub.
The pub management have been very welcoming, but would obviously
like to have some idea of numbers and particularly those who want
to eat. A copy of the menu is included in the images below. You
don't need to choose your meal, but it would help if you could
indicate if you expect to eat in your Will Attend logs.
Caches :
There are plenty of nearby caches, including one within a few yards
of the Pub and others nearby in Farnham, Badshot Lea and Aldershot.
For those that want to make a day of it, there is the nearby
Farnham Ramble Rally Series or the UK Mega Series is less than 10
miles away.
There will also be a number of new caches published on the day
and/or made available on the evening of the event.
Geocoins/TBs:
There will be the normal opportunity to swap and discover Travel
Bugs and Geocoins.
