The cache, placed at Lough Emy, has some wooded margins, and
lies just 1.6km east of Emyvale on the N2 Monaghan - Aughnacloy
Road. The access is good with a road to the shore and ample car
parking facilities. As with all lakeside caches please take utmost
care of children. The walk to the cache is approx 1km in total and
is a pleasant walk along the lakeside.
There is a gravel path all the way to the cache which, although
may be buggy friendly, may be difficult to access by wheelchair,
due to the entrance area.
The area can be busy with muggles, especially anglers and people
walking. Please use discretion at the cache location when
retrieving and replacing the cache.
THE CACHE is a small tablock box with geocaching sticker
and in black camou. When placed it contained a log book, pencil,
sharpener and other small swops. There is enough room for some TB's
and geocoins. It is hidden in a slightly prickly spot so please
come prepared.
