Some fantastic views of the surrounding inlet greet you when you reach the summit. Pushchair and pet friendly.
This cache was put here so you can enjoy the great views available on a fine Wellington day. When we placed this cache it was a perfect Autumn day with clear skies and a cool bite to the air. We had the expert assistance of some friends (thanks Sophie) who accompanied us on a late morning walk to find a spot to hide the cache.
This location is a little out of the way so would not be known to people from outside the area (or even those nearby!). The cache is a clear 1 litre container and when placed contained the following
- 5 popper
- Mini frisbee
- Pink keyring thing
- Carabiner
- Toy snake
UPDATE: 25 Jan 2012. I did some maintenance on the cache and have updated the clue given the area has changed a bit since we first hid this cache.
UPDATE: 8 Jan 2014. Replaced the container and moved slightly for a better hide. Clue added to reflect this very slight move and updated cache coordinates.
