A cache that begs you to explore the East MacDonnell Ranges
Trephina Gorge is a magnificent but much less touristy spot in the underrated East MacDonnell Ranges. There are several day walks here, a picnic ground with gas BBQs and pit toilets, and two spectacular campgrounds to choose from. The landscape around the gorge is dramatic and begging for a photograph.
The walk into the gorge is a signposted bush tucker walk. From My-October, there are ranger guided walks and talks.
