Denne cachen er plassert på plassen til den arkiverte Brattholm
cachen.
Monumentet er reist på rettersted for åtte av de 11 fra
"Brattholm" som måtte bøte med livet våren 1943. En av disse falt i
kamp i Toftefjorden, åtte ble henrettet av Gestapo på tidligere
Grønnåsen skytebane, to var hardt såret og døde kort tid etter på
sykehus i Tromsø. Alle 11 ble gravlagt på skytebaneområdet.
Monumentet består av en høy granittblokk pluss 11 rullesteiner.
Granittblokken har avrevet topp som symbol på livsløp som brått og
brutalt ble revet over, mens de 11 rullestener symboliserer de 11
som ble henrettet.
Cachen inneholder logg og noen små bytteting.

This cache is placed on the same place as the archived Brattholm
cache.
The monument was raised in the execution place for eight of the 11
men from "Brattholm" that had to be put to death in spring 1943.
One of those fallen in battle in Toftfjorden, eight were executed
by the Gestapo on the former Grønnåsen shooting range, two were
badly wounded and died soon after in hospital in Tromsø. All 11
were buried on the shooting range area.
The monument consists of a high granite block plus 11 rolling
stones. Granite block have broken top as a symbol of lives that
were abruptly and brutally torn over, while the 11 rolling stones
symbolizing the 11 who were executed.
The cache contains log and some small trading items.
