Geocache Description:

Ein kleiner Zwischenstopp auf den Wanderwegen im Naturpark Neckartal-Odenwald nahe Weinheim.

Vom Parkplatz aus lässt sich der Cache auf dem Wanderweg Nr. 2 gut erreichen. Die Hütte befindet sich im ersten Drittel des ca 6 km langen Rundweges. Wer möchte kann diesen auch beenden, ist aber nicht zwingend nötig. Eilige Zeitgenossen können aber auch den angegebenen Pfad bergauf nehmen, der etwas steiler ist, und sind so in ca 10-15 min vor Ort.
Die Hütte ist dem Andenken des Oberförster Roth gewidmet. Eine solide Holzhütte mit einigen Sitzmöglichkeiten in der man gut verschnaufen und eine Pause machen kann. Kleiner Tipp, ganz in der Nähe ist auch der Hirschkopfturm - GC1D3F3 von dem man eine fantastische Aussicht hat.

In Weinheim's Naturpark Neckartal-Odenwald. Parking is available at N49º34.286 E008º40.697. The cache is located along trail 2. From the parking place the cache can be found in around an hour, but if you'd like you can follow trail 2 all the way around. Beware that the trail is 6km long. There is a shortcut to the cache but the pathway is better and there is a spot with a good view if you follow trail 2. Please bring a pen.
