Best way to GZ is the mowed path on the north side of the park.
If you decide to try from the new parking lot, you will have to cross the creek and battle the wild "prairie". The city hasn't maintained this park, so it is very overgrown except for the mowed area along the powerlines to the north.
We just wanted to place a cache to honor Walkabout46 for reaching 1000 finds. On to the next thousand now, Judie!!
As of July 2009, there is a new paved parking lot on Southport Rd, but you have to cross the creek to get to this cache. Limited parking just off Acton Road. Be careful backing out - we are amazed by the traffic on this road and they tend to drive fast (a spotter is recommended if parking here). Cache is now a 6" long plastic tube . Please rehide it the way you found it.
