Geocache Description:

Cache hidden outside Pawleys Island Chapel. Parking available. Seeking cache in daylight recommended. Container is a camouflaged lock-n-lock-type container.

This cache is hidden outside of the chapel on the actual Pawleys Island. During the summer, the chapel is used as a church on Sunday mornings at either 10 or 10:30 am. The cache is considered to be unavailable during church services or other events when the church is in use.
The Chapel stands on marshland donated by Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Porter. Originally built in Georgetown, the building was home to the Pentecostal Holiness Church. The building was dismantled and rebuilt on the Island lot in 1946. The Chapel survived two major hurricanes - Hazel and Hugo. There was severe damage after Hugo, but contributions from hundreds of people financed its restoration.
The cache itself is camouflaged lock-n-lock-type container with plenty of room for trade items. It is hanging from a branch by a carabiner. Please make sure the container is securely attached back to the branch before leaving so that it doesn't float away with the tide like the coconuts did. You should not have too much trouble finding it. Please do not walk on the foliage and small plants. Seeking the cache in daylight recommended, but not required. For more information about the chapel, go to the link in the related page section.

Congrats to the Aussieyanks for the FTF!
