I thought that I would combine a couple of my favorite outdoor
sports into one this spring/summer. That is Geocaching and fishing
(fresh water and salt water). Both sports have brought me to some
beautiful places. I will probably post up a number of hides this
spring/summer as I work my way around to several of my favorite
fishing holes.
My second spring/summer fishing geocache is at Brettuns Pond in
Livermore. This is a beautiful one hundred and sixty five acre pond
stocked with Trout. According to IFW they stocked the pond with
25-17” brook trout, 50-13” brook trout, 500-10”
brook trout, 200-9” brook trout, and 100-13” Brown
Trout in 2008.
Fishing Report on day of placement: 5/3/2009. The water appears
to be still a little too cold to get anything to come to the
surface.
Cache: The cache is a dry box with a log book, pencil, and some
small swag. Sorry no FTF prize in this cache.
Directions: Boat ramp is on RTE 4 in the Town of Livermore. See
parking coordinates.
Good Luck!
