Geocache Description:

Johngie and 1PATR10T were brainstorming about events over p@tht@gs at a local fastfood joint one day, and came up with an idea...
Why not have a "Trade Event" where everyone can bring their sig items and little round shiny metal discs to trade with eachother?!
And that is how West Michigan's 1st Trade Event was born!

This event is located in
Huizenga Park, Zeeland, MI
From 10am to 2pm

a map can be found here.
A link to the park website can be found here.

Huizenga Park is handicap accessible,
and is a great place to go for families.
The park includes:
basketball courts
beach volleyball courts
a baseball diamond
a fishing pond
a large skate park
a childrens play area called "Timbertown"
pavillions and restrooms

------------------------------------------------

There are around 140 caches within 5 miles of this park, including one in the park.

Holland State Park is only about 10 miles away.

Downtown Holland is less than 5 miles away.

Holland has MANY great parks, and most (if not all) have caches in or near them. Check out a list of city parks here

Zeeland is the kind of small town everyone likes to call "small town America". It's a great place to be in.
There are several small shops and restaurants in their Main Square, and Many small parks, nice walkways, and picnic areas throughout the area.

Lastly, Ottawa County has many parks, and Nearly the entire list is occupied with caches. Here is a link to the Ottawa County Park site.

So if an awesome event isn't enough to bring you out - There are plenty of things to keep you in the area once the event is over!
