If you start at the Issaquah High School Trailhead, the hike will be approximately 5.5 miles with an elevation gain of 2200 ft., although you might want to consider the extra ¼ mile round trip to the nearby viewpoint. You can choose to do the series in sections or all at once, you decide. To complete the series you will need to first answer several questions and use the numbers in a simple formula to find ALL the North coordinates and the West coordinates of TMC #1. Then lace up your hiking shoes and head to the trail. The last 3 digits of the remaining West coordinates is written inside the front cover or on the first page of the cache logbooks. A little something extra awaits the First to complete the series in TMC #4.
For TMC #1, you will be looking for a Lock’ n Lock. To calculate your Coordinates, use the numerical answer from the following question in these simple formulas to replace ABC.
A Section of land has _________ acres.
North: Posted Coordinates Minutes - ABC
West: Posted Coordinates Minutes + ABC
For Example:
31.876 - 100 = 31.776
31.876 + 100 = 31.976
Caches in this series

TMC #4 Phew! The final
