Geocache Description:

Container replaced on 7th May 2013 with a larger clip top box about 3" square, in same location.

The Birmingham & Fazeley Canal was completed in 1789 to connect Birmingham to the Coventry and Oxford Canals and generated a great deal of freight traffic to and from Birmingham.
Now running through some very run down areas it still provides a haven for wildlife and a pleasant walk or cycle.
