One of a series of 3 easy caches placed at Osprey Quay which encompasses the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy. This is the site of the sailing events for the 2012 Olympics. The caches are placed at sea level on an easy flat walk of less than one mile from first to third.
Free parking can be found at N50 34.096 W002 26.888. There is plenty of interest on the route including a SAR (Search and Rescue) Helicopter base - please be aware of the noise and wind generated if the helicopter is active. The development work is associated with the building of a new marina and related retail outlets. The blue building is the National Sailing Academy which is the HQ of the 2012 Olympic sailing events. The small container is suitable for small swaps only and when set contained a FTF gift, log book and pencil.
