Geocache Description:

Located by the bridleway that leads from Dark Lane to Wood Lane. From Dark Lane follow the gravel path and take the left fork. Turn off the gravel path just before the gamekeeper's cottage and follow the bridleway up the hill. The cache is at the top of the rise at ground level, 10m to the east of the bridle path.

The cache is in a cliplock container: it contains a logbook and some toys and things.

If you want to make a round trip with a good pic-nic en route and a pint to finish, park at The Star in East Leake (SK524262). Follow the Mid-Shires way through the village and climb Fox Hill. Turn left at Crow Wood Hill, and head north-east, following the edge of the golf course, the edge of the sheep field and the gravel path. Turn left at the junction (altitude 87m). The cache is at the brow of the hill: now's the moment to eat the pic-nic. Go down the hill and follow the gravel path to Dark Lane. Follow the road back to East Leake. Estimated distance: 7 km.
