Regular size container painted to camoflauge. Contains some small trading items and is our first cache to celebrate our 100th find. It shouldn't be to difficult to locate. There is a Timmy's card for the FTF.
This is the first cache we have hidden so we have kept it simple. It is the first in a series I hope to do called Along The Sydenham. There are eight species of fish, five mussels and one turtle species that have been found in the Sydenham River that are listed as vulnerable, threatened, or endangered species at the provincial and national levels. Although some of the species at risk have declined, most are still present in the Sydenham River. Many of these species are found nowhere else in Canada.
On a sunny day we have bicycled along the river and often seen turtles on the rocks and dead logs sunning themselves.
This particular location is also the site of an old cemetary which has suffered over the years. The graves from the 1800's have lost many of their headstones and only a few remain with the names of the early settlers.
CONGRATULATIONS TO MILHOWZER ON BEING THE FTF - GLAD YOU ENJOYED THE TIMMY'S :)
