Logan Eye Key Ah Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Captain Terror: Once again this geocache has been underwater. The final, perhaps 4 metres under. It was still in place, and the logbook dry, amazingly!

The whole area is covered with a silty mud and not that pleasant to visit. I feel this geocache has had it's time now. I removed the container and laying the listing to rest

Thank you for 12 years of logs, photos and favourite points.

Geocache Description:

The creek that gave its name to the district was named after the Slack family who had a cattle run there before the days of closer settlement. The Aboriginal name for it was Mungaree, place of fishes, which is the name they gave to their property. In September 2006, Queensland's only IKEA store moved from its original home in the nearby suburb Rochedale South to its new location in Slacks Creek. IKEA Logan is now the largest IKEA store in the southern hemisphere and the 3rd largest in the world.

This enjoyably simple multicache will take you on a short and fun journey around the Logan IKEA Superstore. Also, you might choose to go for a browse in IKEA or the range of stores in the neighbouring Logan MegaCentre.

The geocache is not at the posted co-ordinates. But it is not far away. The posted co-ordinates are where you will have to start your journey. Note that the starting point has minimal parking so it is advisable that you park in an IKEA carpark (which is undercover) and walk to the posted co-ordinates. This means you will have to cross the potentially busy road, but look for the pedestrian crossing at the lights.

The plaque here commemorates that which was here first. Here, as with all the waypoints here on the page, you will need to answer an associated question. You will have to answer these questions, not necessarily in any particular order, and do a little maths, but you shouldn't need a calculator. Make sure to take note of where you could be in terms of elevation. It should be fairly obvious though.
