The terrain is good for walking, wheel chairs, baby strollers, etc. except for about the last 15-20+ feet.. Might watch for hidden rock, holes, chunks of cement etc. IN the grass/weeds. Watch for possible thorny plants and possible Poison Ivy, Nettels, etc... There were none at time of publishing, but??? They are very typical for Iowa..
This cache is a: 2 X 5 inch cammoed med bottle. I dropped of a Geocoin and there is other family swag inside..
Here is one in a series of caches to raise awareness for the Old Creamery Nature Trail. There will be more to come in the future. Please keep in mind that this trail is still in the development stages and the west segment from Garrison to Dysart requires more bicycle diligence, BUT it is an excellent place in nature and a great opportunity for Geocaching.
Geocaching has been welcomed by the people in charge of the trail development. Please use caution and obey the rules for the trail. For more INFO. about The Old Creamery Nature Trail; See: (visit link)
THIS cache is for YOU!!!
The Old Creamery Nature Trail is "in Work" but is nice enough to ride mountain bikes, walk, etc., as it has gravel on all of the trail.
PLUS, you'll have the pleasure of finding a few caches, along the way.. ENJOY!!!
There are 24 total caches along the Old Creamery Nature Trail (OCNT), between the Parking area and Garrison.. (Approximately 6 Miles)..
There are also approximately 25 Caches on the OCNT between Garrison, IA. and Dysart, IA. (Approximately 9 miles)....
BCNU down the road, and "Keep On, Cachin' On"...
