Stilbaai 30km off the N2. Turn to Stilbaai west over the bridge that goes over lagoon. At 4way stop follow the Info signs to Info center. Easy cement path to walk on. 230 Meters from parking area. Near sealevel in a 500ml container
The cache is in the coastal town of Stilbaai 30km off the N2 between Riversdale and Albertina. It is placed near the Stilbaai information center. This cener is also a Museum. It is a homestead called Palinggat.It was built in 1809, burnt down and rebuild in 1914. There is a small dam near this house where there are several eels. They are been fed every day at 11h00.
Your parking coordinates are S 34 22.324 E 021 24.554. There is a walking trail east from this parking area. Follow this cement path for 230 meters. You may see some dassie, crabs, bushbuck and "grysbokkies" and lots of birdlife on your way.
Just after you have crossed the stream there is a large wild olive tree on your right.Your GPS signal is not very strong underneath the tree.
After your finding you can stroll down the stream for another 300 meters to a beautiful view of the lagoon
