Snipefield Wood is about a mile from Colpy, along the A920 to Oldmeldrum. Parking for Snipefield Wood is easily seen from the road. Please park at below co-ords off the A920 and not on the track nearby behind the cache which leads to houses.
Finding the cache will take less than half an hour 'round trip',
Terrain is flat and grassy, but can be very muddy in winter.
A short trail through woodland with wildlife sculptures.
This is an ideal cache for young children. It has a 'magical' feel. They will love the trail through the wood looking out for all the sculptures and gnomes...you have to look carefully to find them all. There is even a picnic table halfway along to sit at if the weather permits. Your walk can be lengthened if you have a dog by following the circular routes around the plantation near the car parking area after finding the cache.
Cache is a small regular box. Please rehide as found to protect from the rain and muggle eyes!
