The Mountain State Geocaching Group invites you to our July Event, Saturday, 9:00 am @ Independent Bible Church (IBC) just 2 miles west of I-81 in Martinsburg. Come meet some of your fellow cachers and participate in sessions led by some of our area's most experienced cachers. This is a great opportunity to bring some of those friends and neighbors who always tell you they want to start geocaching.
One cache currently exists at IBC, "Come as you Are". There will also be one new cache posted on the church property the day of the event.
We will be starting promptly at 9:00 am with coffee, donuts, and juice.
9:30 - 9:55 am - Panel Discussion with our seminar speakers. This will be your opportunity to ask those questions you've always wanted to ask.
Then we will have two short sessions. You decide which topic interests you the most.
10 - 10:25 am

10:30 - 11 am
1. Tricks on how to find a Cache - LPYankeefan
2. Tips on how to place a Geo-Cache - Snurt
If you haven't found the caches on Sleepy Creek Mountain load them on your GPS's and we can go the mountain! Hopefully we will have some new folks that we introduce to their first caching experience.
We have asked our local papers to do an article on Geocaching prior to the event. We hope to have some visitors wanting to understand the hobby we all enjoy. Be sure to let us know if your coming and how many your bringing so we'll know how many donuts to buy.
A display of Geocoins will be on hand, so bring your TB's and Geocoins to show off or pass on.
