Geocache Description:

Chard Stop Line

This used to be a part of a series "Cache Across Somerset", the series has now been archived but this cache lives on.

A quiet spot near to the resevoir, the cache is next to the cycletrack, a couple of hundred metres from the road. Please park with care and obey the parking signs.

The concrete blocks are a part of the WWII defences, designed and placed to stop enemy tanks. The blocks were placed in lines across the countryside and were called 'Stop Lines', Take a look at the information boards for further details.

Please hide the cache well so it can't easily be seen

*** FTF congratulations go to Saltercrease Rangers ***
