Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash on the Old Roman Watling Street in Redbourn

This cache continues our Roman theme started in Norfolk and is in a quiet location to the North of Redbourn. This is a quiet spot as only buses are allowed to join the A5183 at the top of the road. We used to live in Redbourn and loved the view looking back through the villlage from near this point, especially after dark, when the straightness of the road can really be appreciated with the street and car lights. Placed to celebrate our 200th find, our New Year resolution is to place a cache for each 50 that we find. Easy road side parking next to the cache. Well done on the FTF to the Bongtwashes, a very quick FTF after the listing. free counters
