Kvilhaugen Gård ble bygd i 1820. Den hadde 63 mål dyrket jord og eiendommen gikk helt ned til festningen. Man drev både med husdyrhold og dyrking av poteter og korn. Navnet har sin naturlige forklaring. Før i tida hadde "byfolket" landsted her oppe og etter å ha gått opp den lange Blussuvollsbakken, var det et naturlig sted å hvile seg og nyte utsikten. Hovedhuset brukes idag til større selskaper,mens fjøset brukes mest som restaurant/pub. Man kan enten ta turen opp på den måten de gjorde i gamle dager, ved å gå opp fra byen og nyte utsikten når dere kommer opp, eller dere kan gjøre det på den enklere måten som en drive-in... ENG: Kvilhaugen Gård was built in 1820. They had domestic animals and they had potatoes and corn. In the old time the people from the city had there country houses here and they went up from the town and stopped here for a rest. Now there is a big restaurant and a smaller restaurant/pub. You can enter this place by the way they did in the old times when they went up from the town up Blussuvollsbakken and enjoy the view, or you can do it in the simple way, like a drive-in...
