Here's a cache at what we find to be quite an interesting location (although we've found lots like the one mentioned just down the road).
Our first-born child struggled to get his inexperienced mind wrapped around either of us leaving for any reason as do most of us when we're young. So one of his earliest phrases that became his mantra was "Back home soon?" when we'd need to leave.
We name this in his honor first. But there's a second reason as well. If you look across the valley you see all those houses over there? Well, one of them will be our retirement home shortly so we'll be "Back home soon" also.
You can look for one of the bigger size ammo cans here. It's not too hard to see and you won't need to encounter any of that nasty Poison Oak stuff unless you want to. This is snake country so live and let live as we say.
Parking is available about 200+ feet NE of the cache and the walk should be easily navigable for you. There's no need to cross the old stone fence but we hope you enjoy it as much as we did
