In doing general maintenance today I noticed that your event date is more than four weeks ago. To help keep your fellow cacher's searches and pocket queries up to date, I am archiving this listing.

Geocache Description:

After the main event, a little dessert

GeoWoodstock7 & a FlashMob & bring a little Sand Or Soil

After Geowoodstock 7; at seven in the evening, spaceteacher will host a short Flash Mob event to give cachers an opportunity to visit just a bit longer.

Schedule of Events

Before 7 p.m. – stay in your car until 7 (a flash mob, people suddenly arrive and disperse as quickly)

7:00 – various activities
• leave your sand/soil on the US or World map
• sign the log
• make your nametag
o or use the one you brought with you and appear on the movie camera
• register for door prizes (tee shirts, recycled corn mug, picture frames, poster, etc)
• make a space shuttle to take home
• find the cache located here

7:12 – group picture
7:13 – door prizes
7:14 – meal (you can “to-go” it if you wish)
7:15 – pick up any trash and leave the area quickly; attend another event, cache, etc.

This event will include a movie camera set up (weather permitting) so each cacher can document their presence by holding a premade name plate as they walk by the cameras. Door prizes and awards for creative designs.
Then we should be able to post the video this cache page.
Maybe we can even have enough “will attend logs” we will need two cameras
.
The SOS is to bring sand and/or soil from your home coordinates or on any interesting travels.
I’m a schoolteacher and I plan to start the school year with a geography/technology unit of activities.
Please place the samples in a film can or pill bottle-we all know how to get those; and put the coordinates on the outside. My students and I thank you for that.
