THE ABOVE POSTED COORDINATES WILL TAKE YOU TO STAGE1. This is not the location of the cache but the start point.
"CACHE ME IF YOU CAN" In most part a drive by waypoint trail, and all information gathered, should be able to be obtained by observing from a vehicle. No Hints, Just geocaching logic required...and some maths skills...
You may have to leave your vehicle if your eyesight isn't too good though. A pen, notebook,calculator will be required for the Maths.
Really designed as a fun cache trail, and one children would enjoy. PLEASE DON'T ATTEMPT IN DARKNESS, and dont attempt if you are in a hurry (NO PAF's).
You should be at STAGE1 look up for the large Reptile Icon.
Use your power of observations and note the following:
The number of toes visible from any angle at street level.
The number of toes will = X
Now,the number of rocks around the Icon,viewable from all street angles, including the rocks the toes are on.
The number of rocks will = Y
Use X and Y to calculate the following coordinates to take you
To STAGE2.
STAGE2 coordinates are :
S 38 00 ABC E 175 20 DEF
ABC = (X) x 25 - 52.
DEF = 700 divided by (Y) + 2.
Navigate with GPSr to the coordinates to locate a Historical Plaque.
You have arrived at STAGE2,look for a Historical Plaque Nearby and read.
Note down the Year and Month mentioned in writing on Plaque, not the sign.
Note down the Year,this will become O
Note down the Month,this will become P
Carry out the following calculations for the coords for STAGE3.
STAGE3 coordinates are :
S 37 GH IJK E 175 20 LMN
The year on the plaque is O , consisting of 4 numbers.
Add all 4 numbers together and add 40.
This number will give you GH.
Add A+B+C+D this will give you I.
The month on the plaque is P, representing the Pth month.
Times P by 8 and take away 3.
This will give you JK.
C + D + F = L
M = E
And B + D = N.
Navigate with GPSr to a certain spot on a hillside.
You should be at the hillside vantage point,parked facing general north direction.
NOTE: A nearby park bench between two small conifers.
How many wooden lengths,make up the seat bottom and seat back?
Note this down as Z.

Have a look around at the views and general area.
Before you go,look for a tall white pole,straight and true.
On closer inspection,How many obvious section changes make its length.
Note this down as V.
Use Z and V to assist to solve the STAGE4 coordinates.
Stage4 coordinates are S 38. M(D+C).ZI(C-F) E175.DK.TU(Vx3)
Where T =( Z+1) and U = V+D.
Researching the pictures may help you here.
They will take you to a place from where you can park, and will be required to walk to the Final.
