-lintutornitapahtuman kunniaksi. Purkki on 0,9 litran vetoinen.
Paikalle vie polku, joka on noin terrain 1,5 - suoraa reittiä
kulkiessa terrain voi olla jopa 3.
A kind of event cache, established at the Battle of Towers birding
event. The cache is 0,9 litres in size. There is a trail near to
the cache with terrain 1,5 - on direct route the terrain can be up
to 3.
Iso Vasikkasaari on yksi Espoon suosituimmista ulkoilusaarista.
Siellä on kesäisin ravintola ja kesäkahvila, rantalentopallokenttä,
kolme ruokakatosta, useita vessoja ja uimarantoja. Saaren
korkeimmalla kohdalla on näkötorni, josta avautuvat hienot näköalat
Espooseen ja Helsinkiin. Kesällä saareen pääsee saaristolaivalla
(www.visitespoo.fi). Suomen Ladun avaajat -joukkue kisasi vuoden
2009 Tornien taistossa Iso Vasikkasaaren näkötornissa.
Iso Vasikkasaari is one of the most popular recreation islands of
Espoo. In summer the island provides us with a restaurant, cafe,
volleyball field, three fireplaces, several toilets and beaches. At
the highest point of the island there is a watch tower with great
views of Espoo and Helsinki. During summer the island can be
reached with a regular boat (www.visitespoo.fi). Edit 19.6.2009:
